"It's Christmas Time Again"

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2011!!
Gabe was shy, and James liked looking at CoCo

Finally the one that turned out the best...SIGH
This year celebrating the Holidays was definitely a lot of fun, hectic, but so much fun. Lots of good food, decorating the house with "Christmas" [Gabe called every decoration "Christmas" for the house]. We even had fun making a Gingerbread house, and sugar cookies together as a family! The older the kiddies get, the more the Christmas spirit fills the home, and it is absolutely splendid!

December came and went so fast, I feel like I didn't get enough of Christmas like I wanted, but we still have New Years to celebrate, so I will keep on enjoying my family time!!

First of all I want to thank my wonderful husband, and my amazing parents for all their help, and family and friends for the well wishes!! We kinda had a little bump in the road...I haven't been  feeling too good since I had James, and I went in on the 15th of Dec. and found out with an ultrasound that I had a polyp in my uterus that needed to come out. BA HUM BUG! I had surgery on the 19th... which meant I couldn't help be Mrs. Santa Claus like I was planning and looking forward to this year, but my husband Mr. Claus and his elves...aka my mom and dad, sure did the trick while I was recovering. They wrapped the presents, Jed did the toy and stocking shopping, got all the goodies and groceries prepared, pretty much they did everything for Christmas and got me back on my feet, and I am so so grateful!!

Gabe... he was major excited this year for Christmas!! When my mom brought their presents in from the car and put them under the tree before they headed back home to Rexburg, we had to explain he had two more days til' Christmas to open those presents. "TWO MORE DAYS, TWO MORE DAYS..." is what I heard the rest of the day as he walked around the house eagerly awaiting Christmas to open those presents. He also carried around the Wal-Mart toy book magazine since November, showing us the toys he wanted for Christmas. So we wrote Santa a letter, and explained if was a good boy, Santa would congratulate him with the presents he asked for!

We made chocolate chip cookies for Santa on Christmas eve, had lots of goodies to snack on all day, watched Elf, and then before we went to bed placed the letter for Santa to get when he arrived... and the cookies and milk for when he left...it was perfect.

Gabe will usually fall asleep watching some cartoons each night, but that night Jed laid by him for a minute, and said "if you fall asleep fast, the sooner Santa will come, so lets just keep the TV off ok?" His eyes were closed, and was asleep in less than two minutes haha.
Next morning...

Slept til' 9 and was still tired... wouldn't open his eyes when we said open... he just closed them tighter haha!

Jimmy just woke up and was ready to open the presents! [don't mind the no make up please!]
The Aftermath....
Jimmy's new seat and elephant toy from Santa... he was spoiled!
 showing off the presents!!

The rest of the day we lounged out in our PJ's, made a nice Christmas day dinner, and enjoyed our family time. We had a wonderful Christmas, and we hope you all did too!
His First Christmas PJ set... love him!!!
